This hotel that we chose through Booked.net was really disappointed from the moment we reached there. Low price doesnt mean that the hotel should provide us with the dirty room with no daily cleaning and changing the towels and bedsheet. Had very bad experience for the first time choosing this hotel and almost ruined our visit to Istanbul. The breakfast was served very badly and the food was cold too, therefore, we didnt eat breakfast there at all. The room was very dirty and full of flies that we had to clean it by ourself, the pictures shown on Booked.net were completely different and the actual hotel was really disappointing. We book alot from Booked.net but this was the worst experience, hope we never experience the same again in future. It was a complete waste of money and time.

Hotel seemed central to main transportation after a 6 block walk uphill.
The location of the facility was in an industrial (leather/shoe ) production area. It was the nicest building in the dirtiest area. After 4 days I had to ask for clean linens and towels, they were acquired after a few hours. The shower drain did not function well, I asked for a plunger to open the drain on three occasions in a weeks stay. Internet reception was spotty. No elevator to serve four floors.

The breakfast and the garden were okay.
Even though we are used to traveling as two local woman backpackers, the location of the hotel seemed to be one of the most sketchy and unsafe places in town. There were almost no women on the streets in that particular area but only men who stared a lot. Also, even if it says so, the location is far from being a part of the sultanahmet and all the rest of touristic areas. it is true that the hotel does not cost too much, but for the same price, a better location and better room conditions could be easily found in the real sultanahmet area.

The staff is friendly. Rooms are clean and wireless works well
Breakfast is not good. The location of the hotel is not close to Sultanahmet you have to walk the slope. The price and facilities match is not so economic. You can find better options.

1. Our Room wasn’t reserved and we told to go to a den to stay for 2 days. I was told if I refuse they will charge me anyway as they know my credit card number, and they showed to me a number! I still don’t know is it possible to charge it without my notice or not. Plus it was 10 p.m. 02JAN and I simply didn’t know where to go to change hotel. It is like a trap! 2. Cold in the room. Despite the fact it was warm outside +10 it was cold in the room, radiator doesn’t work, air conditioner in heat mode also. When outside temperature drop to +02 with snow (07JAN) inside the room become as on the North Pole, we slept in jeans and t-shirts. 3. Real not friendly management. But due to above problems they didn’t charge us for booking prolongation 12.30 pm – 6.00 pm. At least thanks for that. 4. Situated in slum. Do not recommend it to anyone as we have checked Hotels near the Blue Mosque, it is possible to find the same room in the normal district. Don’t see any advantage.
